The Veterans Portrait Project will take place at the Charlotte campus of Gardner-Webb University. This is a free event made possible by the support of Gardner-Webb University. You do not need to be a student of Gardner-Webb University to participate. As long as you’ve served, and are a DD Form 214 holder, you qualify. Active duty, Guard and Reserve personnel presently serving are eligible as well. Each veteran’s portrait session lasts approximately 8-10 minutes and you’ll be provided with a high resolution digital file of your portrait. You may share it, or have them printed wherever and however you choose.
You can wear whatever you like – uniform or civilian clothes. Bringing a military memento or old photo always helps, and is encouraged, but it isn’t necessary. While we honor military spouses, the event is reserved for veterans. If your spouse is a veteran, they’re welcome to pose with you. If they are not, it’s “time permitting” only, with no guarantees.
Please fill out the form below to reserve your time slot. You may request a time-frame that works best for you, and if that time is not available, we’ll provide an alternative time nearest to your requested window.
